Back in October '00 I got to ride famous Hermosa Creek in Durango.
To do the shuttle you take #578 quite a ways in from Purgatory ski resort.

The Slick Rock trail overlooks a couple of bends in the Colorado River.

East of Albuquerque is the Otero Canyon trail. It connects to a bunch of other cool trails as well.
Faulty trail is another one of several on the east side of Sandia Mtn.

Palo Duro Canyon, just south of Amarillo, TX.
This canyon just drops down out of nowhere (literally), in the middle of the ultra-flat Texas Panhandle.

Ride the "King of the Mountain" trail up to this is the view from the top of Sandia Peak. (almost 2k ft. in 8 miles) The ski lifts are right behind us. To the left you can see the tram cables.
To the right is a takeoff area for the hang gliders.
